On Friday, May 21st we will hold an Adopt A Block Party! This is an opportunity for us to recognize our current adopters and for new adopters to learn more about the program! We will be serving up hamburgers, hotdogs, refreshments and beverages all while you learn more about this innovate program that was designed for individuals of the community to take action and responsibility to keep our downtown clean, friendly and beautiful!
So you’re asking yourself…What is the Adopt A Block program and who is involved?
Easy…It is a program for civic-minded individuals; businesses or organizations willing to volunteer a small amount of their time to help keep the sidewalks and curbs clean in downtown Manheim. This program recognizes that the streets, sidewalks and public spaces are an extension of our individual private properties. When streets, sidewalks and public areas are beautified and kept clean and free from litter, it reflects well on the quality of life and the town’s character.
